October isn't only about the boos and ghouls or pumpkin spice lattes. October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
If you had an appointment today, or any other Wednesday in October, you will see our staff sporting shades of pink; some head to toe others with splashes here and there!
We kicked off the month with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K, October 2nd. Our very own Jamie Lytton was crowned Mrs. Alaska AmeriCAN; her platform, to promote breast cancer awareness as early detection is key! Despite the predictably unpredictable Alaska weather, she was at the Park Strip partaking in all the festivities.
Jamie is partnering with Imaging Associates, hosting mammogram parties throughout the month of October. More information on their Facebook here.
